Currently, companies that generate electricity based on renewable resources require the contracting of an external organization which validates the fact that they are using renewable sources for their corresponding conversion into electricity. This entails to take into account within the OPEX certain economic amounts that must be diluted among the costs of the product-service extended to the final customers. With the development and implementation of the BCIIoE platform, electricity generators that use renewable resources will be given the possibility of certifying directly from their own field equipment that the main source comes from such sources. This will further underpin their corresponding business models as well as give their final customers the possibility to refer that the value chain for the production of their final products has an accurate record linked to the Green economic circuit.
